World’s Best Gins

Our bar might be modest in size, but that doesn’t stop it from stocking the very best gins in the world, including the world’s best gins past and present in every category including: world’s best dry gin, world’s best contemporary gin and world’s best flavoured gin.

For example, we’ve got some of the world’s best pink gins in Tarsier Oriental Pink (Gold medal winner at the World Gin Awards 2020) and Lilly Pilly Pink (best flavoured gin award at the San Francisco 2020 Spirits Awards); rare, cask-aged gins too like Ki Noh Bi “11th edition”, and always carry fruity, retro and contemporary gins like Masons Yorkshire Tea (Best UK Contemporary Gin 2019) who have all collected a plethora of awards.

Here’s a selection of some of the world’s best gins on our shelves right now. Special guest gins often make an appearance too.

With wild botanicals like rowan berry from the mountain ash trees, fuchsia, bog myrtle, hawthorn and heather, it’s no surprise this gin won Best Irish London Dry Gin 2019. But it didn’t stop there and was also crowned World’s Best London Dry Gin 2019 – and World’s Best Gin 2019.

Hernö Old Tom

Hernö Old Tom

Even if Hernö Old Tom wasn’t crowned world’s best gin in 2017 and 2018, as soon as we saw the bottle, we just knew that Hernö Old Tom had to curl up on our bar.

Find out more about Hernö Old Tom here. Oh, we also happen to have a rare bottle of cask-aged Hernö Sipping Gin #1.3.

KI NOH BI “11TH EDITION”

Ki Noh Bi 11th Edition

Cask-aged gins are pretty hot right now, with gins coming out that have been aged in barrels that held everything from chardonnay to champagne.

Ki Noh Bi “11th edition” though is perhaps one that is hard to beat when you consider that this is a Japanese gin aged for 6 months in an ex-sherry butt that held Karuizawa single malt whisky for 25 years.

It’s also pretty rare too: only 1,002 bottles were made, with only 600 available outside of Japan’s Andaz Hotel.
