As you might expect there are some changes to the way guests stay with us during the pandemic. Adhering to Gov advice and industry best-practice, these changes primarily centre on working with you to keep your room as safe, clean and sanitised as possible and to minimise the risk of you or one of our members of staff catching the virus.

You will be clearly informed of these changes on arrival, but to give you an idea of some of the main changes you will experience before you check in, here are the main points:

We will not clean your room or enter your room until you have checked out. Instead we will provide you with all the materials you need to clean and sanitise your room yourself during your stay, and provide you with fresh bedding.

Before you check in, we will deep clean and sanitise your room professionally and thoroughly and leave you with a completed and signed Cleaning and Sanitizing Checklist.

You can now have breakfast in your room. All you have to do is pop in an order the night before.

We will assume that when you check in you have not been told to self-isolate, but you will also be asked to sign a form stating that this is the case and you will have your temperature taken.

We hope you can appreciate that in an old building like ours, with rooms close together, we will also rely on you to be aware of your responsibility to others in terms of social distancing.
